We collect and use such information only as described in this policy and any applicable cookie or tracking disclosures.
As of the effective date of this policy, this website does not use Google Analytics, a Meta Pixel, another advertising or analytics service, or an email-marketing platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
Personal information is used for legitimate event and business purposes, including:
- Processing ticket purchases and registrations
- Verifying event admission
- Providing registration confirmations and receipts
- Coordinating RV campsite reservations with Camp Margaritaville
- Communicating event schedules, updates, and important announcements
- Planning meals, merchandise, workshops, and activities

We do not use attendee information for purposes materially unrelated to those disclosed without providing any additional notice or consent required by law.
4. Ticket Payments and Stripe
Rigs in Paradise uses Stripe as its planned payment processor for online rally ticket purchases.
When purchasing tickets, certain payment and transaction information is collected and processed through Stripe.
Stripe may process payment card details, billing information, transaction information, and fraud-prevention information according to its own policies and the services used.
Rigs in Paradise may receive transaction records and limited payment details necessary to verify purchases, issue refunds, maintain accounting records, and resolve payment questions.
We do not need attendees to provide complete credit card numbers or card security codes by email to request a refund.
Stripe's privacy practices are described at: https://stripe.com/privacy
Ticket checkout on this website opens Stripe's hosted checkout page. Card numbers are entered on Stripe, not on this website. Before that page opens, this website records the Terms & Conditions version, the Cancellation & Refund Policy version, the time of acceptance, the attendee counts, and the Stripe Checkout session identifier for that registration.
5. Sharing Information With Camp Margaritaville
RV campsite reservations are separate from rally ticket purchases.
Following registration, relevant purchaser and booking coordination information will be shared with Camp Margaritaville RV Resort so its staff can contact purchasers within seven business days to coordinate campsite reservations.
Information shared for this purpose may include:
- Purchaser's name
- Email address
- Contact telephone number, if collected
- Relevant registration confirmation information
- Number of registered attendees or other information reasonably necessary for reservation coordination
Only information reasonably necessary for the booking process will be shared.
Camp Margaritaville independently manages campground reservations, payments, site assignments, and related guest information under its applicable policies.
Rigs in Paradise does not control all personal information independently collected by the resort.
6. Sharing Information With Hosting Creator Teams
Rigs in Paradise is hosted by:
- WildWanderRV
- Determination Unbound
- Free and Easy RV
Authorized representatives from these teams may have access to limited attendee information when reasonably necessary to fulfill assigned event responsibilities, such as event registration, communications, scheduling, or activity coordination.
Access to attendee information will be limited according to legitimate event responsibilities.
Attendee email addresses and other personal registration information will not automatically be provided to individual creator businesses for their independent marketing campaigns.
The three hosting teams may maintain their own social media accounts, websites, and business operations, which are subject to their respective privacy practices.
7. Other Service Providers and Disclosures
We may disclose necessary personal information to trusted service providers assisting with:
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Ticketing and payment processing
- Event communications
- Registration administration
- Customer support
- Event operations and fulfillment
- Security, accounting, or legal compliance
These providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their designated functions.
We may also disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of event operations.
If Rigs in Paradise undergoes a legitimate business restructuring or transfer, relevant records may be transferred as permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate privacy protections.
The services actually used for this website are Stripe for ticket checkout, Vercel for website hosting, and Neon Postgres for the website database when a database connection is configured. This website does not use a separate email-marketing service or a third-party registration form besides Stripe checkout and the acknowledgment forms on this website.
8. Sale of Personal Information
Rigs in Paradise does not sell attendee registration lists or personal contact information to advertisers, sponsors, or unrelated third parties.
We do not provide attendee contact lists to the three hosting creator teams for unrelated independent advertising or marketing.
If our data practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law before implementing those changes.
9. Email Communications and Marketing Preferences
Attendees may receive necessary event-related communications, including:
- Ticket confirmations and receipts
- Campsite reservation coordination information
- Event schedules and important updates
- Registration and attendance instructions
- Cancellation, refund, or event-change notices
- Other operational communications reasonably necessary for the event
These communications are part of administering the event.
Optional promotional communications, such as marketing for future events, may be offered separately.
Where consent is required, we will obtain it before sending optional marketing communications.
Recipients may unsubscribe from promotional emails using an available unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting rigsinparadise@gmail.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not necessarily prevent essential messages concerning an existing registration.
This website does not currently send marketing email through an email-marketing platform, and ticket checkout does not include a marketing checkbox.
10. Children's Privacy
Rigs in Paradise is a family-friendly event; however, our website and online ticket checkout are intended for adults.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for registering children attending the rally.
We do not intentionally solicit website registration or payment information directly from children under 13.
Information about minors provided by parents or guardians will be used only as reasonably necessary for event administration, appropriate participation arrangements, and related lawful purposes.
We seek to limit information collected about minors to what is reasonably necessary.
We do not sell children's personal information or knowingly use it for targeted advertising.
Parents or guardians may contact rigsinparadise@gmail.com with questions or requests concerning information supplied about their children.
We will comply with applicable children's privacy requirements, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act where applicable.
11. Event Photography and Video
Photography and video recording may occur during Rigs in Paradise 2027.
The collection, use, and publication of identifiable images or recordings are addressed in our separate Photography, Video & Media Policy.
General event attendance does not grant unrestricted consent for all commercial uses of an attendee's likeness.
Additional permission may be requested for featured interviews, testimonials, promotional advertising, or identifiable media involving minors.
Attendees with photography or filming concerns may contact rigsinparadise@gmail.com.
13. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
These steps may include appropriately restricting access, using reputable payment and service providers, maintaining account security, and limiting collection and disclosure to legitimate business purposes.
Only authorized individuals who need personal information for their assigned responsibilities should be permitted access.
No website, electronic transmission, or data storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We encourage attendees to avoid submitting payment card security information or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary email.
Records kept by this website are stored in the website database and are not published on the public pages. The full attendee email list is not automatically shared with individual creator accounts or sponsors.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, accounting, security, or business requirements.
Registration, payment, refund, and business records may need to be retained after the event to satisfy applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Information no longer reasonably necessary will be securely deleted, de-identified, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable retention obligations and organizational procedures.
Retention periods may vary by record type and legal requirements.
15. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Request deletion of certain personal information
- Request information about categories of personal data collected or disclosed
