1. Purpose of This Policy
Rigs in Paradise is a community-focused RV rally hosted by three RV content creator teams: WildWanderRV, Determination Unbound, and Free and Easy RV.
Photography, video recording, and social media content are a natural part of documenting the event, sharing experiences, celebrating the RV community, and preserving memories.
This policy explains how event photography and filming may take place, how event media may be used, and how attendees can communicate their preferences.
Our goal is to capture the excitement and community of Rigs in Paradise while respecting the privacy and personal preferences of attendees and their families.
2. Photography and Video During the Event
Photography, audio recording, livestreaming, and video production may occur throughout Rigs in Paradise 2027.
Recording may take place during:
- Welcome gatherings and group socials
- RV Olympics, campground games, and beach activities
- Educational seminars and creative workshops
- Group dinners and entertainment
- Community gatherings and other organized activities
- General campground and resort scenes in areas where recording is permitted
Attendees should expect that cameras and recording equipment may be present in designated event areas.
Reasonable event media notices may also be displayed at registration and activity locations.
3. Authorized Event Media Teams
Official event media may be captured by Rigs in Paradise LLC and authorized representatives of the three hosting creator teams:
- WildWanderRV
- Determination Unbound
- Free and Easy RV
The Organizer may also authorize photographers, videographers, or production personnel to document the event.
Authorized media personnel must comply with applicable laws, venue requirements, participant consent restrictions, and this policy.
Camp Margaritaville may conduct its own photography and recording under its applicable policies. The Organizer does not control all independent resort media operations.
4. How Event Content May Be Used
Authorized event photography and video may be used for legitimate purposes such as:
- Sharing highlights and recaps from Rigs in Paradise 2027
- Publishing event-related Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content
- Sharing images on the official Rigs in Paradise website
- Creating event photo galleries and community updates
- Announcing or promoting future Rigs in Paradise events
- Documenting organized activities and community experiences
- Producing noncommercial or editorial-style event coverage
Such uses will remain subject to applicable privacy, publicity, consent, and other legal requirements.
This policy is not an unlimited commercial likeness release and does not automatically authorize every promotional use of an identifiable individual.
5. Incidental Appearance in Event Coverage
Because Rigs in Paradise involves group activities and social gatherings, attendees may appear incidentally in photographs, videos, or livestreams of event areas.
Examples may include background appearances in crowd footage, wide-angle recordings of group activities, or general scenes of the rally atmosphere.
The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of event recording and respect communicated filming preferences.
An attendee's presence at the rally does not automatically authorize use of their identity or likeness in every form of commercial advertising.
6. Featured Interviews, Testimonials, and Promotional Content
Separate permission may be requested when an individual is the primary focus of a recording or when their likeness, voice, or statements are intended for a use that requires specific authorization.
Examples include:
- Individual interviews or testimonials
- Featured promotional videos
- Paid advertising campaigns
- Brand endorsements or sponsored promotional content
- Identifiable participants featured in merchandise or product advertisements
- Commercial uses that go beyond general event documentation
When required, the Organizer or authorized creator team will obtain an appropriate written or electronic media release describing the intended uses.
Declining an optional interview or promotional recording will not affect an attendee's general rally admission.
7. Photography and Video Involving Children
Rigs in Paradise is a family-friendly event, and protecting the privacy of children is important.
Children may appear incidentally in group or background footage where recording is otherwise lawful.
However, authorized event media personnel should obtain appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian before deliberately featuring an identifiable minor as the primary subject of promotional content.
Examples include:
- Individual interviews with children
- Close-up promotional videos primarily featuring a child
- Featured testimonials involving minors
- Paid advertisements using a child's identifiable likeness
- Other recordings requiring specific parental authorization
A parent or guardian's purchase of a child's rally ticket does not automatically constitute blanket permission for all commercial uses of that child's name, image, voice, or likeness.
Parents and guardians may contact the Organizer regarding filming concerns involving their children.
8. Privacy and Restricted Recording Areas
Photography and recording must respect private spaces and reasonable expectations of privacy.
Without appropriate permission, filming is prohibited in:
- The private interior of another attendee's RV
- Restrooms, showers, changing areas, and similar facilities
- Private accommodations or restricted areas
- Locations where the resort prohibits photography or recording
Event media teams must follow resort policies and avoid interfering with safety procedures, guest privacy, or the normal use of campground facilities.
Recording inside an attendee's RV requires the permission of the person authorized to grant access and any other legally required consent.
9. Attendee Requests Regarding Photography
We understand that some attendees may prefer not to be photographed or filmed.
Attendees can email rigsinparadise@gmail.com before the event or speak with designated event personnel during the rally to communicate filming preferences.
The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to:
- Notify authorized media personnel of a documented request
- Avoid deliberately featuring an attendee who has asked not to be filmed
- Provide reasonable alternatives when certain activities are being recorded
- Address identifiable media concerns when practical
Because the event may include large gatherings, livestreams, and independent attendee recordings, the Organizer cannot guarantee that a person will never appear incidentally in the background of any recording.
The Organizer also cannot guarantee removal of content already distributed, reposted by third parties, or captured independently by other attendees.
Any request involving unlawful publication or another enforceable legal right will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
10. Attendee Photography and Personal Social Media
Attendees are welcome to capture and share personal memories of Rigs in Paradise.
We encourage respectful photography and sharing of the experience with friends, family, and the RV community.
Attendees must:
- Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others
- Follow resort photography and facility rules
- Obtain appropriate permission before recording inside another person's RV
- Avoid filming in private or restricted areas
- Respect requests not to be deliberately recorded where reasonably practical
- Avoid interfering with organized activities or safety instructions
- Obtain appropriate consent for commercial uses when required by law
Attendees are responsible for content published to their own social media accounts.
11. Livestreaming and Online Distribution
Certain activities may be recorded or livestreamed by authorized event media teams.
Livestreams may be publicly accessible and may remain available as recordings after the event.
Because livestreamed content may be distributed immediately, removal or editing after publication may not always be possible.
The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to communicate when planned official livestreaming is occurring and address advance filming concerns.
12. Ownership and Use of Media
Photographs, videos, and other original content created by the Organizer or authorized creator teams generally remain the property of their respective creators or lawful rights holders, subject to any applicable agreements.
The three hosting creator teams may share authorized event coverage on their respective platforms, subject to this policy and applicable law.
The Organizer does not claim ownership of all photographs or videos independently created by attendees.
Attendees retain their applicable intellectual property rights in their own original content.
This policy does not grant the Organizer unrestricted rights to reproduce, sell, license, or commercially exploit independently created attendee content.
13. Sponsored Content and Commercial Partnerships
Although Rigs in Paradise is community-focused rather than sponsor-driven, some event content may reference brands, products, or business relationships.
Any sponsored content, endorsements, or paid promotional materials must comply with applicable advertising and disclosure requirements.
The Organizer and creator teams will obtain any additional permissions or releases required for specific commercial uses of identifiable individuals.
General event attendance does not automatically authorize using an attendee's identity to imply that they endorse a particular brand, product, or service.
14. Requests Concerning Published Content
Attendees may contact the Organizer with questions or concerns regarding photographs or videos published through official Rigs in Paradise channels.
Requests should include a description of the content and, when available, a direct link to the applicable post or video.
The Organizer will review requests and determine an appropriate response based on the nature of the content, applicable rights, technical feasibility, and legal obligations.
Requests involving content published independently by other attendees or unrelated third parties may need to be directed to the original publisher or hosting platform.
